ECHO Echo is a contemporary drama and experimental film that takes place in the year 2010. The concepts behind ECHO are embodied in American Art Cinema. It is the story of Chase Laciter, an eccentric but grounded fashion photographer from Los Angeles. Chase's story segways to the story of two other couples whose lives are intertwined in Chase's world. It humanizes the world of fashion and fashion photography and it also humanizes and gives a back seat into the exclusive and mysterious world of fashion. It embodies an angst and tension with themes of a troubled teen whose dreams are wielded with aspirations to get away from her family and make a life of her own. With themes of gender, sexuality, morality and liberalism as a mechanization and mimetic to the lives of the central characters, ECHO aims to embody quintessential themes of Post-modern American identity.
